Do you know what is in the box?

If you still purchase boxed “food” to eat, the time has come when you must start reading the labels to see what you truly are ingesting.

You have one meat suit this life time, eating real food will go along way to keeping you healthy. Eating sugar, processed oils and chemicals will not.

Testimonial By Lisa

In the Fall I came across a great deal for Bootcamp classes – since I’d done them before, I figured, Great! Little did I know that I was not only about to participate in one of the best Bootcamp classes I’ve ever taken, but that I’d meet someone as motivating, thoughtful and caring as Sandra. First – the workouts. The structure of the classes are varied and always interesting. Everyone is encouraged to move at their pace, but never to slack off. Sandra is encouraging and motivating, yet she’ll call you out when she knows you can do more and push harder. The atmosphere in camp is friendly, fun and challenging, and despite being sore and sweaty at the end, most days you leave with a smile on your face.

But more importantly than the great workouts is Sandra. She is supportive, knowledgeable and truly cares about how each person is doing. She has been incredibly supportive to me, above and beyond anything that I could have asked for. Sandra truly wants everyone to live the best lives possible, to be as healthy as possible and to be as happy and centered as possible. Her personal attention has kept me coming back for a third session in a row. She is truly fabulous in every sense of the word. If you’re thinking about signing up, don’t think for another second. Just do it. You won’t regret it.

My Favorite Bread

If you are going to eat bread, eat one that is low in sugar and additives. My fav is a Spelt bread from the ShaSha Bread.co.
It has only 2 gram of sugar, and 6 grams of protein. It’s a whole grain, is yeast, lactose and dairy free. No added fat, no trans fat or cholesterol. It’s also a good source of iron and fire. I love mine toasted with organic almond butter! Yummy

You Eat What For Breakfast?

When it comes to your health, and body fat, nothing is worse or contributes to more body fat than sugar!

Here are a few common breakfast cereals. Most cereals are nothing more than candy in a box, marketed to tell you it’s good for you! Ha, sure good if carrying excess fat and ingesting HFC’s and chemicals is what you are all about!

You must get in the habit of checking labels if you insist on eating packaged “foods.”
Choose brands of cereals that are lower than 5 grams per servings.

So, how many grams of sugar are contained in these breakfast treats?

  1. Fiber One Raisin Bran Clusters contains 13 g of sugar per serving and it contains high fructose corn syrup.
  2. Raisin Bran Crunch contains a whopping 20 g of sugar per serving (That’s a one cup serving, most people eat 2 cups) and it also contains high fructose corn syrup listed three different times on the label within other ingredients!
  3. Quaker’s Instant Oatmeal Maple and Brown Sugar Flavor contains 12 g of sugar per packet.

4.  Crunch N Munch’s Buttery Toffee Popcorn with Peanuts contains 13 g of sugar per serving, with its first ingredient being sugar, and its second ingredient being corn syrup, with partially hydrogenated oils close behind.

OK, so #4 isn’t really a cereal but contains less sugar then the Raisin Bran “healthy cereal.”

You must read labels and not get duped by marketing!

You only get one meat suit per life time sista! Fuel it with processed, chemical laced junk, and expect it to run out of vitality and life substantially quicker than it needs too!

Quality of life is what rocks! Fuel your body with real food. Foods that once flew, swam, ran, grew on a tree, vine or in the ground. Foods bursting with colours and life force.

Make it so!

Namaste,
Sandra

What is an ideal body?

Your ideal body is not a size or even a look.  Your ideal body is the energy you cast, the feeling of vitality and confidence you exude. Making peace with where you currently are, with how your body currently looks and feels is important. It is nothing but the accumulation of every thought, food ingested and activity performed  to date.  If you are less than thrilled with how your body looks and/or feels, change your actions and yield different results.

Creating your ideal body allows you to walk taller, feel beautiful, and interact with others from a place of love and acceptance.  By allowing yourself to shine brightly you inspire and allow others to do the same.

Creating peace in the world, starts with peace within.

Namaste,

Sandra
