BE THE BURPEE!

BE THE GAME Sportswear Inc, helps children and their families overcome financial challenges so they can experience the benefits of organized sports and the life lessons they will learn from them. As a result of our programs, more kids are acquiring lifelong healthy habits and valuable life lessons and skills.

Our BE THE BURPEE campaign is dedicated to creating positive and lasting change in children and adults alike. We’re getting kids and families active and getting kids IN THE GAME with this program!

BE THE BURPEE is a grassroots movement created to helping get kids active and playing sports. We work with many community social organizations across the globe to identify families of less fortune who are unable to register their children in physical activity and minor sports programs. Through t-shirt sales, BE THE BURPEE works to enrol these children in sports.

Our goal is to sell 1,000,000 BE THE BURPEE t-shirts (to start). This will give over 30,000 children the opportunity to play minor sports in communities right across the globe.

We’re interested in partnering with local groups such as communities, clubs, associations, businesses, boot camps, gyms, sports teams, schools etc. to assist in getting kids and families active in their communities.

By hosting regular events and quarterly National BE THE BURPEE Days, as well as selling and promoting BE THE BURPEE T-shirts and merchandise, our partners will be provide local opportunities within their community to instil lasting change for children and families alike.

TOGETHER WE’RE CREATING CHANGE!

TOGETHER, WE’RE MAKING A DIFFERENCE!

TOGETHER, WE’RE PART OF THE SOLUTION

Go here to order your Tshirts to support this worthy cause and find out more!

Thank for your support!!

An Opportunity To Give

One of our long time campers is asking for your help…..

Just a head’s up… my friend Lianne and her swim team will be doing a charity drive again to prepare  toiletry bags for a group of women’s shelters around Christmas time.

She is looking for unused “girlie things like bath stuff, soaps, make up, perfume, make-up bags etc” to assemble into care packages for the women at the shelters.  The idea is that most of us have this stuff lying around in our bathroom cupboards and it is a great opportunity to clean them out! You know, things we get for Christmas, birthdays etc that we never get around to using, or we don’t like the scent or something.
This is an early head’s up so you can keep it in mind going forward.  I am happy to collect whatever you have whenever you have it so when you do your fall clean out (which of course we all do) you can bring in at anytime and I will store it until the holiday season!
Thank you in advance and please feel free to forward to anyone you would like!
Jenn
