Love Your Body, Love Your Self

“My body”, “my meat suit”, “the vessel I use to experience this planet”, whatever you want to call it, one fact remains: Each of us has only one body for this lifetime. How we fuel it, care for it, and maintain it, is solely up to the individual owner. Ideally, we hydrate it with clean water and energize it with whole, real food which has not been processed by man in an attempt to improve upon what Mother Nature has abundantly provided. Even though most of us probably have some idea how to eat for optimal health and energy, our mindsets towards our bodies are often very toxic. For many, it can even be to the point of self-loathing.

We don’t like the way we look because we carry too much body fat, or our skin is not clear enough, tight enough or smooth enough. The list of reasons we can find not to be in love with our bodies is long and varied. Becoming aware of these thought patterns, aware of our distaste for our bodies, is the first step towards loving ourselves more.

You cannot give to another what you do not possess yourself. Loving yourself unconditionally will open up and improve every relationship you have with others. Continue here….

Feb 16th Gratitude Blog

I can’t believe we are mid Feb already! 2012 is zipping by faster than ever. Speaking to others, it seems like many are dealing with procrastination issues. Having so many projects on the go, a multitude of ideas to move on and yet, at the end of the day not much revenue generating activity has taken place. Discovering priorities is key, and committing to spending a couple hours a day on those will go along ways to moving projects into reality. Thankfully, we are given opportunity to move forward daily.

I am thankful for my kids, who have a long and wonderful history of doing things and saying things to make me laugh. They are my rock and grateful to have been blessed with 3 wonderful souls who picked me to be their mother.

Grateful for Jeff, who has shown me that unconditional love and acceptance exists. And going with the flow, stepping out of my comfort zone can be terrifying but what lays on the other side is beautiful.

Grateful for Bobby who is going to create amazing videos to bring BootcampGoddess and BootcampCoaching to the world

Thankful to have met so many wonderful women in the last round of LS deals, to have previous clients return, and new clients converting to full time Goddess’s.

I have been seeking advice from Parvati Devi and “The Team” for several years. Grateful for the insight they have again provided to allow me to move further  into positive possiblities to create more joy within me and live in flow, releasing resistance and being of service to all.

Make today better than yesterday, and expect tomorrow to be juicier than today!

Namaste, Peace out, be well,

Sandra

Developing a New Mindset is the Key to Having it All

Committing to a daily workout, minimum of four days a week, is key. What is the one sure way to ensure you do that? You must reprogram your mind. You must stop seeing yourself as someone who is on a diet, “trying “ to lose weight, fat, or pounds. Let’s say you are a non-smoker, on your way to the store to buy a magazine. You do not think before going to the store, “I hope I can avoid the temptation to buy cigarettes.” No, you see yourself as a non-smoker. The thought of buying cigarettes does not enter your mind when you are in the store.  Read more here

Fitness: Recovery from Overindulgence

The season of overindulgence has passed. You survived or you wouldn’t be reading this. How much damage was done is open to perception. Did you go for seconds at the family events? Did you fill up on potatoes, gravy, pies and bread? Or were you tipping the elbow? If you enjoyed both food and drink with wild abandonment, you are not alone! No need to feel guilty or be hard on yourself when you need to squeeze your butt and thighs into your pants. You had an awesome time, I hope, and now you simply have a few things to do to stop feeling like a sloth. Read more here
